How to Become a Game Developer (rough thoughts)

 This is in response to someone on Facebook asking the question in the title, but the offer I give here is extended to anyone reading this.

I have a bachelors in computer science and was recently given credit for contributing a bit to a mod for age of empires one of the leading real-time strategy games. Let me tell you what I think. If you can't understand it and you really really want to learn how to develop games just send me a message and friend request I'll try to guide you through things and help you know how to get started. It's helpful for me to talk to beginner and aspiring programmers because it get helps me get back into programming.

For low budget indie development combine three things: 1)Something people need or want to see to make sure you have hit a new unique niche E.g. Build a game with realistic sci Fi setting and do research if necessary but watching Sfia on YouTube for example 2) Clever marketing by featuring your game to the right people and all kinds of different relevant social media outlets. Do this while making sure to express exactly what they might expect your game to offer to them at every stage of development including early office stages alpha stage the beta stage and pre-release. Build a community that might be interested in your game while you're developing it and be open to feedback instead of having to market as much. Create several social media pages where people can participate in the development process. You could also do tricky things offering to create advertisements for influencers who talked about sci-fi in this case. What you would do is offer to create an advertisement for them which might include early graphics from your game. You make sure to include some of their logos characters or other symbolism which would connect them to the game's content. You make sure that people viewing the advertisement can read any description or a comment somewhere that the game content viewed in such an advertisement is not representative of what they might see in the final game but just something to show appreciation for your advertising partner and how you support what they're doing as it is in line with the vision for your game.. the general vision to mention to mention would be just high quality sci-fi in this case. 3) An agile development approach where you release a very early version of the game with one simple level for example but with all the attractive concepts built in and included for people to enjoy and try out. Agile development means that you develop a basic minimum working version of the software program very early on and keep adding to it rather than waiting

HOW TO SPOT FAKE ONLINE DATING PROFILES AND AVOIDING SCAMS

A big part of healthy online dating and healthy online romance and friendships can begin with healthy choices for friends.  The first step to this is knowing how to spot scammers and fakes quickly and easily so that no time is wasted on them.  This is also a very important first step to learning to become more anonymous and in creating a more safe and secure internet for everyone.  Romance scams are the second most common type of scam affecting users in the United States as is reported by the referenced article(1).  The better we get at noticing them and exposing them as a community the harder it will be for them to continue their business. 

SIGNS OF A FAKE:

1) blonde

2) wants to talk on google hangouts (a lot of online prostitutes and scammers use this)

3) very little information on her profile

4) sexy lingerie pics on her facebook or other profile

5) very little unique info on her profile 6) Easy to get 7) Has very structured conversations 8) Will act manipulative when they are trying to fool you into their scam. 9) WILL PROMISE TO MEET IN PERSON OR GIVE HOPE FOR IT WHEN ATTEMPTING THEIR SCAM

"We are friends" "Do this favor for me as a friend" "We will be able to meet in person after you help me with this." Sometimes they will ask for money to cover medical expenses or their plane ticket to go meet you. Sometimes they will want to send you money. NEVER ACCEPT MONEY FROM ANYONE ON THE INTERNET. Nigerian scammers who promise to send you money make $700,000 according to this news report below. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/04/18/nigerian-prince-scams-still-rake-in-over-700000-dollars-a-year.html If someone wants to send you money tell them to put it in a Gofundme or something like that. Gofundme donations are public. People will sometimes do scams where they send you money and then manipulate the money or the bank then ask them to send the money back and then tell your bank that you stole the money or something

-WHY GOOGLE HANGOUTS?-

A LOT OF SCAMMERS USE GOOGLE HANGOUTS BECAUSE THEY CAN EASILY SEND MESSAGES TO MANY PEOPLE ON IT AT THE SAME TIME AND SEND THEM MESSAGES WITHOUT HAVING TO SEND A FRIEND REQUEST. Strictly by personal judgement I would say that 99% of women wanting to talk on Google hangouts are scammers or online prostitutes.   Girls who use google hangouts are most of the time involved in scams especially when they are very beautiful and kind and easy to get. 

If you really want to talk to her just check to see if she is real first by doing a video call or by asking her the right questions. If she is fake she will likely change the topic on you and refuse to answer some of your questions. #endporno #endabuse Technical sidenote on using IP addresses to spot fake profiles : Finding out how to trace someone's IP address could be very useful in identifying scams. It is often the case that people with fake profiles will lie about which country they are from. I do not know how to do this. I am just saying that it could be a very very useful thing to know how to do. you could also do that to have someone prove that they are not fake. They could send you a screenshot of their ip address. They can spoof their ip and use a fake one easily with a vpn, but it's a good start at least and could weed out perhaps 30-80%(just a personal estimate) of the fakes. You could ask them to send you a screenshot of their ip address displayed on a website like https://whatsmyip.com/ alongside a screenshot of your conversation. Screenshots can easily be faked, but this is a good start and perhaps other similar ideas could be developed. You could also ask someone to connect to a service which will not work well if they are using a vpn or ask them to ping a server that is in the country they claim to be in. If they were to perform such tasks on a website you trust or on your own site or server then that could help you prove their origin. Such a system would have to be set up and could be very effective in improving the credibility of online dating profile verification approaches being used by Tinder and other online dating systems. What I see as Welton Academy's Legacy -Seeds Sown are Never Sown in Vain

Perhaps about two years ago Karen Welton sent me a heartfelt e-mail when Welton Academy Supernatural Bible School closed explaining the circumstances behind the ministry school's closure.

I want to say that Welton Academy sowed important seeds in me which give me great hope.  I have read Eyes of Honor and Raptureless and took one semester of Welton Academy Supernatural Bible School .  Welton Academy is a certified seminary Bible school.   The great value and legacy left I wish to speak of is that of how Welton Academy graduates receive seminary degrees being imparted with the abililtity to Biblically defend life giving doctrines of victorious eschatology and other grace themed doctrines.  That kind imparted knowledge and wisdom has become absolutely essential to me for when I converse with Christians who think of less grace filled doctrines and will only listen to Biblical justifications for the way I now  believe in God and for my new grace filled way of life.

I believe nothing happens in vain.  God is all powerful and harvests good fruit from all that he sows in his kingdom garden.   We have now a a generation who has been equipped with such mighty instruments as the ones imparted by Welton Academy that will be able to go forth defend powerful grace themed doctrines when interfacing to millions of Christians in the United States and worldwide by means of the internet or missions efforts.

Just before I finished editing the sentence written before this one in fact I realized that a Youtube channel called "Pain Free Birth" has uploaded some videos featuring Karen Welton.  I do not know if Karen Welton is still doing ministry, but she is still a part of the body of course and if she is not influencing the body througha ministry it is sure that she is still with us being of influencing the kingdom through her prayers and through her regular fellowship she probably has with others in the church.

a voluntad propia es dada por Dios a los hombres como una de las fuerzas espirituales mas poderosas que posee. El amor se podria decir que es una de las cualidades que heredamos de la cual no quiero distraer. Sin embargo el asunto aqui no es de que la voluntad propia pueda sustituir al amor en importancia si no de que su proposito es uno comletamente distinto al del amor.

Se podria decir de forma simple que su funcion es de mantener la integridad del individuo. O sea de que un ser humano pueda mantener su persona distinta a la de las influencias espirituales y terrenales que le rodean. Yo no puedo vivir la vida de un amigo o inclusive un hermano por mas que yo me le acerque. Inclusive si yo fuera a utilizar algun medio biotecnologico para tomar posesion de su cuerpo y cerebro junto con todas sus memorias aun asi existe el simple hecho de que Dios ha destinado ese mismo cuerpo y ese mismo cerebro para otros planes muy distintos a los tuyos. Como voy explicandome quizas usted este algo confundido; tomemos un ejemplo mas basico por mientras tengo tiempo de asegurarme de que este ensayo quede bien redactado. Pensemos en uno de aquellos hombres o mujeres homosexuales quienes juntan dinero para que en una clinica especial les cambien sus organos reproductivos por unos del sexo opuesto. Igual ellos tienen otros planes para sus cuerpos que no son los mismo que tiene Dios. Una ventaja que tenemos al poder observar este fenomeno moderno aunque grotesco es de que demuestra lo poderosa que puede ser nuestra voluntad propia para alejarse tanto de los planes e intenciones de Dios o de cualquier otro ser existente. Y en ese ccaso de cualquier otro ser existente porque bien sabemos que el enemigo y otros pueden tener ciertos deseos para nuestras vidas.

Con estas explicaciones como fundamento a nuestro razonamiento intento ya ahora expresar sobre la voluntad propia mi idea principal. Usted podra observar que la voluntad propia demuestra su poder en que la decision firme de algun ser existente no puede ser conmovida ni por las mayores fuerzas emocionales, fisicas o espirituales. Por mas que sea la influencia por parte de seres extranjeros no hay forma de derrumbar la decision de aquel individuo. Si alguno quisiera ponerse el traje de el cuerpo de algun otro Dios podria respaldar a la victima de aquel delito y le dara el apoyo necesario para realizar sus propositos para su vida. En esos propositos por supuesto viene incluido mantenerse un individuo y derrotar a aquel impostor.

A person can be very intelligent or gifted but these people are very different from those who recognize the full power of such a gift and have the intention of using it. You recognize those who will go far sometimes when you observe them studying the lives of the renowned geniuses of their field. A philosopher will read the books of Socrates and Plato, a scientist might daydream about Einstein's theories and proposals, or you might hear a writer trying to use one of Shakespeare's lines to calm an argument. Theys seek to understand the minds of their heroes and to compare them to their own. They scrutinize every detail of the person's life so as to not only understand their mind, but also to observe their approach to life,family and the fundamentals of human existence. Ultimately this leads the person to exhibit their mental worth to the world because they understand how those heroes of our world maneuvered their mental wits to power the feats of personal accomplishment which give them their renown.
